yesterday
watched half of the Mtv Video Music Awards-thank god i recorded the whole show even the red carpet. send kak nilah to orchard for her tuition. poppa decided to go to Beauty World Shopping Mall i think. we passed by a few 5 star & 4 star hotels. i asked poppa & momma a question.
me: the IMF & Worldbank people are living in this hotel right?
momma: not only this hotel.
poppa: some of them living in different hotels la.
momma: got about 20 odd of them in singapore right?
poppa: yah..
momma: but i never include the reporters, the photographers & the cameraman all you know.
me: oh. but if you add all the reporters, the photographers & the cameraman together with the rest of the 20 odd people then, how many are there?
poppa: about 50..
momma: about 50 odd.
me: oh okay.
nyahahaha.
we went to the 24hr restuarant opposite beauty world. the food was nice. then we started talking about the lockers who got hacked in kcp. i told my mom to call the principal if mine got hacked. SO THOSE BASTARDS BETTER WATCH OUT-you don't know who you're messin' with mind you. im serious. im not like some other people who will run to their locker & won't tell their parents. please, what if your belongings were stolen. what if your BOOKS were stolen. not that i actually care but seriously, how are you going to study? okay whatever. i shouldn't get too far off.
after we ate, poppa asked me if i wanted to see his kampong house. i said okay 'caus ei really wanted to see. so, we passed ALOT of nice big houses. & poppa memory is effin' good, he pointed out the old houses & the new houses. gawd, his house was deep deep deeeeeeep inside. we didn't go in 'cause there was a dead end. so, we went out of the car instead & walked towards some trees. we didn't go deep deep deeeeep inside 'cause there were monkeys. so we went back to the car & poppa drove around the big houses & we went home.
i was using the computer at home & trust me i was writing the 'my mom is...' but i saved it as a Draft 'cause we were going out to fetch my sister from her tuition. while waiting, i went to Borders with momma while poppa waited in the car. i bought the Ocotber issue of TeenVogue. High School Musical as Young Hollywood. woots! they look different. seriously-they look very different.
went to kampong glam & went to the Antique shoppe where momma & poppa will buy their Salt & Pepper shakers. i bought an old-school Harmonica. damn cute. Kak nila bought 3 old-school wind up toys. so cool. hahahhaha!! there were a few posters of the legendary P.Ramlee. & posters of old singapore. beeyoutiful. we walked around & saw a Middle-East themed restuarant. since we didn't had any dinner, we ate there. the food was great. the caramel tea was awesome, the hot chocolate was lovely. worth a try.
we went to this shop which sells nice teh-tarik. mm-hmm. poppa bought us some & we went to the 24hr mini NTUC at some petrol shop to get some groceries. me & kak nilah stayed in the car talking about the movie 'Hostel'. sick-ass movie. & we went home!
momma & poppa won't admit that they like wtaching MTV-i swear.
